MATCHA MELON ICED TEA WITH GINGER

INGREDIENTS

1 tbsp Jasmine tea , loose
1 litre boiling water
1/2 Honeydew melon
1/2 Cantaloupe melon
Juice of half a lemon
2 tbsp Ginger syrup
1 teaspoon Ceremonial Matcha Green Tea
Lemon slices and mint to garnish
Ice cubes

PREPARATION

  1. Put the desired amount of jasmine tea into a teapot and brew/pour boiling water over it. After 3 minutes, pour the tea off and allow it to cool completely.
  2. Cut the flesh of the melons into small cubes.
  3. Put lemon juice, ginger syrup and matcha in a bowl and add the Mix the chasen (matcha whisk) well.
  4. Pour the cold jasmine tea into a large container or measuring cup and stir in the matcha. Add the melon pieces, lemon slices and a few mint leaves, stir and top up with ice cubes.
  5. Divide the iced tea into glasses and serve garnished with mint.
