INGREDIENTS
1 tbsp | Jasmine tea , loose |
1 litre | boiling water |
1/2 | Honeydew melon |
1/2 | Cantaloupe melon |
Juice of half a lemon | |
2 tbsp | Ginger syrup |
1 teaspoon | Ceremonial Matcha Green Tea |
Lemon slices and mint to garnish | |
Ice cubes |
PREPARATION
- Put the desired amount of jasmine tea into a teapot and brew/pour boiling water over it. After 3 minutes, pour the tea off and allow it to cool completely.
- Cut the flesh of the melons into small cubes.
- Put lemon juice, ginger syrup and matcha in a bowl and add the Mix the chasen (matcha whisk) well.
- Pour the cold jasmine tea into a large container or measuring cup and stir in the matcha. Add the melon pieces, lemon slices and a few mint leaves, stir and top up with ice cubes.
- Divide the iced tea into glasses and serve garnished with mint.
